1.
When your love is not enough and the worries of this world get in your way, just hold on: surely, hearts will change -- wind and waters rage. You many find yourself asprawl on distant shore, sprung from the belly of a whale, where the waves as high as seagulls' knees, lap the faithful dog your rosy cheeks. It may elude your sight, the form that passes out of dream into the waking life; pursue the quarry through the night. When your love is not enough, just hold on, when your love is not enough. Your love is not enough. Love is not enough.
2.
Today feels like tomorrow is almost gone. Kiss it goodbye. You locked yourself outside of the place she owns: you left your keys upstairs in the bag along with the phone. Your money was on fire you watched it burn. I hope that you were able to laugh, 'cause I would have cried. You made it to the gate just to miss the plane, you made it just a minute too late, and it flew away. The shadow you that made it aboard the flight perished in a terrible wreck over Jamaica Bay. I'm praying that your future is paved with light; I'm praying that it pierces the clouds that cover your sight. Today feels like tomorrow is almost gone. Kiss it goodbye. Kiss me goodbye.
